Heartbroken and sick to my stomach. That’s how I felt after the standings were finalized Saturday afternoon while I stood at the Moore’s Resort and Marina on Kentucky Lake. Haleigh Caldwell and myself only managed to bring in 4 fish on day two due to massive waves and high winds hindering us from making our 35 mile one way trip to our best spot. However we scrapped up what we could and stayed positive! We fell shy of a National Championship birth for The Ohio State University by just 1 pound and 8 ounces. Finishing in 22nd place out of 203 teams.
